Jason’s Gold, by Will Hobbs is an amazing story of perseverance, which is set in 1897. In this book Hobbs introduces Jason Hawthorn. Jason is a young man of great independence and because of this he leaves his brothers in Seattle for a life in New York City. He is in New York City for only a few days when the Klondike Gold Rush starts and Jason gets the Klondike Fever as bad as anyone. Jason is off to the far north to catch up with his brothers who have already left and mine millions. This is Jason’s story of determination and strength on his quest to reach the goldfields of the Klondike!
