Dan Gutman
Dan Gutman is a New Jersey author who has written many children’s books. He was born October 19, 1954 in New York City. Dan’s father left their family when he was young but their family survived.
Many of his books revolve around baseball but he writes about many other sports also. Dan started writing children’s books in 1992 when his two-year-old son inspired him. His most famous set of books is the & Me series which started with the book Honus & Me. Also Dan was a newspaper columnist and a video game magazine editor. I like how kids all over can relate to Dan’s stories because he talks about topics kids face.
